A Divorce is  uncontested if both spouses agree on
the following items:

GUARDIANSHIP


These are necessary for a person to have legal custody of any child other than a child of the guardian.

Guardianships are necessary for health insurance and other purposes.

Guardianships are also required when a minor child inherits assets or is awarded assets in order to provide accountability to the court for the child's property.

Guardianships are also necessary for adults who are not able to provide for their own day to day needs.

  PATERNITY

An order from the court is necessary in order for any man who believes himself to be the biological father of a child to obtain any parental rights regarding the child. Having his name on the birth certificate is not sufficient to establish paternity, nor is the fact that the child has the man's last name sufficient to establish paternity.

  CHILD SUPPORT

  Any time a person has a
   child that they do not
   have physical custody
   of, they should expect
   to pay child support for
   the care and support
   of the child.
   The Arkansas Supreme
   Court has adopted a
   chart for use in  determining
   the appropriate amount
   of support.
